2025 All Star Weekend
The 11U Thunder looks forward to celebrating with you and your athletes at the upcoming All-Star Event at South Lyon High School, July 10th thru July 12th. All are welcome: come out to watch some great softball and baseball, explore our many raffle basket items and chance your luck with a 50/50 drawing! The raffle basket winners and the weekend 50/50 winner will be pulled Saturday evening. Winning tickets will be posted on the SLJL Facebook page as well as through an email blast to the league families. Phone numbers are encouraged on the back of tickets!
All SLJL members of divisions above T-Ball are welcome to participate in the Skill Competition being held on Thursday, July 10th with a 5:30pm start time. We will have Fastest Base Runner, Throwing Accuracy, Fastest Pitch and a Home Run Derby. Let's see those skills!!
Note that registration packets, including jerseys will be distributed on game days. Please arrive early! Pop-up tents provided for quick change.

Note:
All players should arrive in full uniform. All Star jerseys will be handed out at registration prior to the game. Changing tents will be available on site!
Our award winners for the Matt Douglass and Abby Dolan awards should also arrive to the game in full uniform.

Frequently Asked Questions I don't understand how the skills competitions work?
The skills competitions are typically held on All-Star Thursday from 6pm until dark.
There is no cost to participate. You do not have to be there at 6pm, come any time during the evening. This evening is open to all Junior League players, not just All-Stars.
We will have fastest around the bases, fastest pitch, home run derby and accuracy throwing competitions. There are prizes awarded to the top 3 finishers of each competition for each house division. There is no need to pre-register. Just show up and have fun. Full concessions will be available throughout the evening.
What time does my son/daughter play and what time should we arrive?
The full schedule of games will be posted. Please plan on arriving at least 1 hour prior to your game time. This allows for registration, photos and time for the league to honor your All-Star with announcements. This timeline is also for the Matt Douglas and Abby Dolan award winners.
What field do we play on? Which dugout?
When you register you're player you will be provided all of this information in a packet.
This seems like a big event, who runs this?
Each year the 11u South Lyon Thunder boys travel baseball team runs the event. This is their main fundraiser for the annual 12u trip for a week long tournament in Cooperstown, NY.
What if it rains?
The schedule of events will be updated and communicated to participants ASAP.
How about pictures?
Our friends at HSP Imaging will be there all weekend taking lots of pictures. These will be available after the events (the following week) on the league website for FREE!! Download them and enjoy.
As the largest youth organization in South Lyon, this is our chance to celebrate a great season. If your son or daughter is playing this weekend congratulations. If your son or daughter did not get selected for the all-star team, this weekend is for you too. Come and enjoy all the fun!
